The loop will be about 15 miles total, with 4 timed stages and 5 transfers. We may throw in another short stage on Crow Creek, if we can get enough timing help. The entire day will be on single track.
Trail conditions could vary wildly. If it hasn't snowed for a while, there could be some bare ground or ice. If it snows the night before the race, it will be soft. We will do what we can, within reason, to make sure we have a well packed trail. If trail conditions warrant, we may change, shorten, or eliminate stages.
Our schedule leaves plenty of time to get between stages. Soon after each of the first two stages you will pass back by the trailhead and your car. Consider your car your own highly personalized aid station. Feel free to stop there and get anything you need, or warm up.
